What is Information Systems?

This project synthesizes pre-task experience, color theory, typography, and visual/verbal complementary meaning to solve a problem linked to lack of knowledge or bias. Although "information systems" is a well-known major in college, the public often doesn’t understand what Information Systems is or they see it as less important than what they do. Thus, based on the information collected during user interviews, we've developed a prototype for an online experience that will transform inexperience or bias into insight. Our goal was to allow fine arts majors at Carnegie Mellon University to see what Information Systems platforms can offer.
